What are we Teaching?
This course provides a strong foundation in the fundamentals of precision rifle shooting, positional shooting, basic use of tripods, and the use of supportive equipment.  We start from weapons setup and build from the ground up with fundamentals of marksmanship, nature point of aim, and more.  During this course, students collect data to engage targets out to 1000 yards. 
 
Required Equipment 
Eye and Ear Protection
Precisions rifle with at least 2 magazines
Rifle sling
250 rounds match grade ammo (more if you want to shoot more)
Mounted rifle scope with adjustable turrets
Rifle bipod
Scope tools (ex. Fit it sticks)
Support bag
Note taking material
Cell phone – with downloaded Hornady 4DOF app
 
Recommended/Optional Equipment
Suppressor (shooting without one is just uncivilized)
Shooting mat
Small backpack/duffle to carry gear
Shooting tripod
Kestrel
Range Finder
Binoculars and/or spotting scope
Camping chair
Weather appropriate gear (rain jacket, sun shirt, sunscreen, waterproof footwear)
